Porsche Bellevue hosted an evening event to support the Team Seattle Race Team which is racing in the 24 hours of Dayton with 2 Porsche 911 race cars. This was the 19th time Porsche Bellevue has hosted the event, but the first time this event was held at our beautiful new Porsche dealership.
The race team collects pledges per lap completed at Daytona, and donates the funds to the Seattle Children's Hospital. This event was the sendoff party for the team and the final fund raiser before going to the Daytona raceway in Florida. Over $100,000 was raised during the event, including a $1,000 donation from AutoNation. In the last 18 years Team Seattle Race Team have donated over $5,000,000 to the heart program at Seattle Children's Hospital.
The event hosed over 300 people at Porsche Bellevue. Team Seattle provided live feeds from the Race Team and Doctors from Seattle Children's Hospital in a presentation for the attendees. We had on display a 2016 Porsche 911 and last year's Sebring Winning Porsche 911 race car for people to view.
Thanks to all that attended and donated.
